2021/2022 NPFL season: Plateau United unveils 12 new players

Plateau United FC have unveiled 12 new players recently signed from different clubs across the country after former Heartland FC Chief coach Fidelis Ilechukwu

was unveiled on Monday as the new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2021-2022 campaign.
Toping the list of the newly recruited players are Suraj Ayeleso (Kano Pillars), Reuben Bala (Enyimba) and Samuel Mathias (Lobi Stars).

Others are, Tosin Omoyele (Enyimba), Alex Aghahowa (Lobi stars), Ikechukwu Williams (Akwa United), Katoh Haggai (Nasarawa United) and Victor Dennis (Kano Pillars) while Ogene Elijah and Jimmy Ambrose both returned from their loan spells.

Plateau United chose Fidelis Ilechukwu as a replacement for Abdullahi Maikaba who left the club at the end of last season.

The former MFM FC of Lagos strategist who was revealed on Monday signed a two-year contract with the Peace Boys.
Fidelis Ilechukwu last worked for Nigeria professional football league side Heartland FC and he tinkered them to safety, despite their financial distress.
