Super Eagles stars Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo have bagged top awards in the United States of America in recognition of their service to Nigeria.
11th Media Global Concept USA spearheaded by SCORENigeria Editor Olusola Alao honoured Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo, Ogenyi Onazi, Olanrewaju Kayode and Leke James for their achievements and contributions to Nigeria football.
The awardees present at the well-attended event were all-time highest goal scorer in Indian league history Ranti Martins, former Enyimba and Houston Dynamo midfielder Rasheed Alabi, ex-Omonia Nicosia defender Rasheed Alabi and former U20 international Dejo Olateru.
The awards ceremony tagged Old School Night/Recognition Awards was staged on Friday, November 11.
The event which was well attended by personalities within and outside Texas, USA, with several musicians like Suffi Apala, Alaba Ultimate, Bankole Band, Babatunde Anomatopia and Ayo Genesis on the ball and stand.
Actors who received awards included Doris Simeon and Tunde Owokoniran as well as musician Lawale Victory.
