Atiku has 80% chance becoming Next President – Ogunkelu, Lagos PDP Leader

By Ayomide Otitoju

Dr. Abimbola Ogunkelu, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BOT) member and former Minister of Corporation & Integration, has disclosed that the party’s candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar is already 80 percent certain of winning the 2023 presidential elections, majorly as a consequence of the failure of the present APC-led government.

Ogunkelu i said APC’s failure in providing security, food, premium motor spirit (PMS) known as fuel, and worse, money scarcity to the citizenry has shown the utter disregard it has for the wellbeing of the people and should be voted out by all citizens.

He stated this at the Walk/Drive Through Lagos organised by the Atike/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council as the grand finale campaign activity towards the actualisation of power by the party.

The Lagos PDP leader said it’s regrettable that over seven years ago Nigerians overwhelmingly voted for change fraudulently championed by the ruling APC but the reverse is the present scenario as the economy has collapsed, more people are in poverty due to lack of jobs and unfavourable economic policies pushed by the present administration.

He asserted that the APC party does not love the country which is why they are placing hardship on the citizens.

‘’The change they are witnessing now is negative change instead of positive change. Nigeria is now at the wrong bottom from top to bottom. It’s time for Nigeria to rise and there must be a new party to rule the country and the party is PDP’’, he reiterated.

He said Nigeria needs to vote for the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and other PDP aspirants in the upcoming general election.

Ogunkelu stated that PDP is well positioned to take the charge and rule this country because it has done it previously. He said if the citizens vote in Atiku Abubakar, the economy of Nigeria will be restored to its glory.
