It was a blessed day to the family of Buki and the Olanrewajus as their children were joined in holy matrimony. The wedding ceremony, which took full style in a traditional setting, witnessed a host of guests.
In an exclusive interview with the couple, The Groom Oluwapelumi Olanrewaju noted and stressed the fact that the joy of every parent is to have their children be wedded in their lifetime and in Good health. Also in his words, he stated that ” The existence of a tradition solely depends on its promotion and modesty. In these words, he enumerates the fact that for the sustenance of African culture, wedding ceremonies should be performed in a traditional way”.
On her part, The Bride Oluwabusayo Buki, appreciates God Almighty for making it a dream come true and for the divine upholding of the lord. In her words, ” Appreciation is the soul of encouragement not to depreciate”.
The father of the Bride, Engineer Olabisi Olalekan Buki, advises the couple to see themselves as one and should shun any form of destructive Advice from anyone including the members of families and friends.
Also on her part, The bride’s mother, Mrs Olufunke Abosede Buki, reiterates the place of prayer in every marriage and urges the couple not to depart from the way of truth and make sure that the word of the lord should be their utmost consult and reliable zone.
The groom’s father, Pastor Moses Olanrewaju, advised the newly wedded couple to make use of the home training and lessons learnt from their background while growing up and not to see their differences but what binds them together.
Highlight of the event was the presence of prestigious individuals, like Dr. Abolaji Buki, Sub Dean faculty of Education, Olabisi Onabanjo University, The Baale of Itowolo, Chief sikiru Aregbesola, First lady of Majidun Awori, Olori Eunice Adeshina Solomon, Mr Ayomide Otitoju the CEO Trust African News among many other dignitaries.
