Pastor Williams Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, has refuted circulating rumors suggesting his relocation to the United Kingdom. Addressing the issue on the Cross River State Deeper Life Facebook page, Pastor Kumuyi clarified that he had traveled abroad for a crusade and conference, which due to time differences, could not be broadcast live back home.
“I did not relocate anywhere. I traveled for a crusade and conference, and due to the time difference, events couldn’t be transmitted back home,” Pastor Kumuyi stated, dismissing the misleading speculation.
During his travels to various countries in the United Arab Emirates for gospel preaching, Pastor Kumuyi emphasized the need for rest after a rigorous schedule. He expressed surprise at the rumors, citing instances where misconceptions about his alleged relocation to the UK surfaced, including letters mistakenly addressed to the UK branch of the church.
In his address to congregants, Pastor Kumuyi urged steadfastness against misinformation and emphasized the importance of discernment amidst attempts to sow discord.
