Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the Ecobank Group, has announced the launch of its deposit mobilisation campaign, the ‘Ecobank Super Rewards Millionaire Geng Promo,’ aimed at rewarding loyal customers. This six-month campaign, running from July 1 to December 31, 2024, will offer monetary rewards to 540 customers of the pan-African bank.
Adeola Ogunyemi, Head of Consumer Banking, emphasized that the campaign is part of Ecobank’s strategy to reward customer loyalty while promoting financial inclusion across Nigeria, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. Ogunyemi noted that the campaign is open to both new and existing individual customers nationwide, offering a premium banking experience alongside the rewards.
Ogunyemi detailed the rewards structure: “520 customers will win N50,000 each month for six months. Additionally, 16 customers will win N500,000 each in the quarterly draws in September and December, and four customers will receive N2,000,000 each at the end of the campaign. We encourage all Nigerians, especially those without an account with us, to take advantage of this opportunity and enjoy our top-notch services.”
Victor Yalokwu, Head of Consumer Segments & Products, explained the simple qualifying conditions for the campaign. New customers need to open an account with a minimum deposit of N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draw, which also applies to existing customers. For the quarterly draw, customers must deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for three consecutive months. To be eligible for the grand prize, customers must deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for six consecutive months and perform at least two transactions monthly.
