Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could return to action before the international break with the midfielder making good progress in his comeback from injury, BSNSports.com.ng reports
Ndidi has not played since the win at Cardiff in December 2023 after sustaining a muscle injury that required surgery.
He was initially ruled out for three months, potentially taking him up to the end of March or the beginning of April.
But the Nigerian has now returned to light training and could step up his work at Seagrave next week, potentially making him available soon.
The Foxes will hope to have him back by the time they head to Chelsea for the FA Cup quarter-final in night’s time, but he could be in contention for a run-out at Hull next weekend.
