Families, friends celebrate as Makinde appoints Dr. Ayegboyin, others Executive Secretaries

Friends and family members have celebrated the appointment of Dr (Mrs) Ayegboyin Salimat Adebola and two others as Executive Secretaries in the civil service of Oyo State by Governor Seyi Makinde.

 She along with the two others, have since been given appointment letters.

Dr Adegboyin has been posted to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to oversee Oyo and Ogbomosho Zones.

An alumna of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Osun State, where she obtained her first degree in English Language. She did her Post Graduate Diploma (Education) in the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti and her Masters of Education in Teacher Education (Language Education) (M.Ed) in 2017 in the University of Ibadan. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy or PhD (Language Education) also from the University of Ibadan.

Until her appointment, Dr. Ayegboyin was with the Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM).

Her appointment and subsequent deployment have elicited a flurry commendation by her former classmates in OAU.

Canada based Thompson Ayodele, who broke the news to other members on AVLES 95/96 Aumni WhatsApp Group platform, congratulated her and wished her divine wisdom and understanding in the discharge of the responsibilities attached to her new office. “I am super excited over her well-deserved promotion. Dr Ayegboyin (popularly called Alhaja) is a dedicated worker. Right from our days in Great Ife, she has shown leadership, gentle, easy-going and focused,” Ayodele said.

Ponmile Akintaro wrote: “Congratulations Egbon Sere sere. I rejoice with you that your resilience in personal development is paying off. God will give you good health and life to enjoy the benefits of your efforts. More feathers to your hat!”

Another classmate, Dr Najeem  Toyese wrote: “Congratulations sister. More post-PhD wins insha Allah.”

Friday Olokor, a journalist with Arise Tv also wrote: “Cheering news! Congratulations Hajiya. It’s good to have a PhD.”

Bishop Gemmy Agu wrote: “Congratulations Alhaja Bola. Many more breakthrough and achievements insha Allah.”

Tola Faneye, formally of Ecobank but now based in the UK also sent his congratulatory message. “Congratulation Alhaja Dr Mrs Ayegboyin, he wrote adding in Yoruba: “Igbega, igbega laa ma ri o.”

“A very big congratulation to you Doctor. May almighty Allah continue to bless you. Amen,” wrote CSP Kanmi Olamisope (aka LawPol).

Also appointed are Adeosun Olukemi Oluremi and Raji Fatai Adebamiji.
