Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has hailed the Ooni of Ife, His Royal Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II) on the occasion of his 47th birthday anniversary while he lauded the Royal Father’s youth inclusiveness drive
The Governor’s birthday felicitation was contained in a Press statement signed on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu
He similarly praised the Ooni for his exemplary leadership and courage noting that Ooni Adeyeye’s pan Nigerian disposition has helped promote unity and sustained peace in the country.
Governor Bello referred to the traditional ruler as a perfect example of young person in strategic position of leadership who has since his enthronement used his position to spearhead plausible and remarkable programs
He noted that His Majesty has continued to lend his voice to peaceful coexistence, unity and integration while also canvassing for responsible leadership that would enhance a better treatment of youth by giving them opportunities to lead
Governor Bello hailed the vast lover of culture, for leading the charge in youth’s participation in agricultural ventures noting that through his advocacy and empowerment many young persons have taken up the challenge to go back to farm
The Governor prayed for God to grant the Ooni of Ife longer life in good health and further grant him the needed wisdom to continue to steer the affairs of his kingdom to a desired destination.
