Read the Testimonial of one of the Stand -Alone beneficiaries of the APPEALS -Women and Youth Empowerment Programme under the POULTRY VALUE CHAIN- EGG PRODUCTION SEGMENT on the establishment of her Agribusiness enterprise In Ayingba, Dekina LGA.
“My name is Amina Oyibo my value chain is poultry. I’m into egg production. My experience with the APPEALS since 2019, has been a wonderful one i have been thinking it will not come to pass that maybe the we’re only joking and taking us up and down. But today I stand to say I am happy and one of the happiest beneficiary because my items have been delivered completely except the installation which is going to be done very soon, my beds just arrived (300) that I ha 75 pre -lay, mash and 70 layers mash have been given to me, wheel borrow too with shovel which are used for the sanitation, I have disinfectants, I have my vaccines, I have the empty crates, plastic crates that I got.
And so many other things, I want to appreciate the entire staff of APPEALS they have been up and doing sleepless night going up and down to see that this come to pass. And today, I want to thank the SPC too, for being a wonderful coordinator; I have not seen somebody like him before I prayed God we strengthen them more. I also want to pray that this that this project that we started we not fail in any way. I have been doing this before but this is an innovation because I’ve not used battery cage before, it will soon be installed. Before this empowerment, I was trained.
In fact, even though I said I have been in it before, the enlightenment I got from the training, in fact I don’t know the words to use in qualifying them. I know so many things now. Especially the social emotional skills that I got that one will now make me to relate with my customers very well. And I know it will go a long way to sustain this project by God’s will.
