David Okereke has revealed that it was difficult for him at Belgian champions Club Brugge at a point because he was not given enough opportunities
“At Club I started well, but in the end it didn’t end well because I didn’t have many opportunities after that,” he recalled.
The forward has now gone on loan to Serie A club Venezia and he said he believes his experience in Belgium in the last two years will bode well for him.
“I have grown a lot in Belgium and overall it was a positive experience. For the past two years I have played in a team that were built to become champions, but Serie A will be a new challenge that I take on with extra energy,” he said.
Newly promoted Venezia will have the option to buy Okereke at the end of his season-long loan.
