Pastor Enoch Adeboye Urges Nigerians to Seek Divine Upliftment

Lagos, Nigeria – The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to rise above their struggles and turn to divine help for upliftment. Speaking during the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG headquarters, The Throne of Grace, in Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Adeboye assured the congregation of God’s power to rescue and elevate them, regardless of their circumstances.

The service, themed “The Lifter Up of My Head,” saw Pastor Adeboye offering prayers for workers in the private sector, youths, youth corps members, the self-employed, job seekers, and their families. He emphasized that challenges such as barrenness, failure, defeat, stagnation, and shame can be overcome through faith in Jesus, who bore humanity’s sorrows on the cross.

“No matter the depth of any problem you find yourself in, Jesus, who was lifted on the cross for mankind, will lift you out of these troubles,” Adeboye proclaimed.

However, he cautioned that divine intervention requires restitution and making amends for any wrongfully acquired possessions or damages caused. Adeboye stressed that true upliftment and open doors come from righting wrongs and seeking God’s grace.
