Mrs. Afusat Adekanbi, a People’s Democratic Party (PDP) woman leader in Ogun State has empowered over 40 women under her ongoing empowerment scheme.

Adekanbi said she intends to continue to empower women in various communities, every first Friday of the month at V O.A. SCHOOLS EWUPE, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, as she also extended the project to Women In Politics (WOMIP) at Chief Alani Akinde, GBENGBELEKU DANBIOWU AYASEKI BABA OJO’s residence, Anglican road, Ota.

The women were gifted N5,000 to take care of their welfare, under a scheme she intends to use to empower and mobilize women into her party, PDP.

She said though she is not a rich woman but her vision to always do little things she can to change someone’s live, which might be little to some but might be the answer to others long standing heart desires, motivates her to continue to affect their lives positively.

She is the woman leader of Atikunation in Ogun state.
