Prophet Adebisi Reflects on 25 Years of Nigeria’s Democracy

Lagos, Nigeria – Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi, President of Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM Worldwide), recently shared his views on Nigeria’s 25 years of stable democracy in an interview with Ayoyinka Jegede. As the head of a fast-growing church with numerous branches and the Champion of Fire Bible Institute, Adebisi emphasized the importance of starting every journey with God.

Reflecting on Nigeria’s democratic journey, Adebisi stated, “Any journey starting with God will end well. Despite the challenges, we see God’s hand in everything happening, defying scientific explanations. The realization of God’s presence is growing among the people, and by His grace, Nigeria will end well. God told me Nigeria is number one in Africa, and we will excel in agriculture, finance, and commerce.”

On Restructuring

Adebisi supports restructuring but stresses the need for unity and love. “Restructuring is good, but we must love one another to ensure unity in our diversity. Love will help us overcome tribalism and work as one nation. When we unite in love, restructuring will be successful.”

On Nigeria’s Future

Adebisi believes that love is the key to moving Nigeria forward. “We must strengthen our institutions with love and shun tribalism. With love, we can achieve a lot. Our 25 years of stable democracy is a testimony, and there is a bright future for us. We must avoid selling our votes and ensure that the best candidates emerge without money politics.”

Advice to Nigerians

Adebisi urged Nigerians to trust in God’s word and speak positively about the country. “God told me Nigeria is number one in Africa. We should pray for our country and stop cursing it out of frustration. Let’s harmonize and pursue a common goal with love.”

Assessment of President Tinubu’s Administration

Adebisi praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, attributing its successes to divine support. “If God is not with the President, Nigeria would have collapsed. There is evidence that God is with him, and things will turn around for good.”

CMCM’s Role in Strengthening Democracy

The Christ Miracle Church Mission has been instrumental in promoting democracy through the preaching of the undiluted word of God, encouraging godliness, selflessness, and respect for others. The church’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives include scholarships for indigent students, cash gifts to widows and the needy, and various youth development programs.

Adebisi highlighted CMCM’s efforts in youth empowerment. “We provide scholarships, health seminars, skills acquisition, career counseling, and ICT training. We also offer food items to the needy every service day. Our goal is to help youths discover God’s purpose for their lives and evangelize through these initiatives.”

In conclusion, Prophet Adebisi expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, rooted in divine assurance and the collective effort of its people. “There is a brighter future for us all in this country. Let’s believe in the word of God and work together in love for a prosperous Nigeria.”
