The Stanley Jegede Foundation (SJF) has partnered Adopt A School Initiative (ADASI) to drive sustainable Education Development Programs (EDPs) within Osun State as part of its Quarter Four (Q4), 2024 interventions and advocacy this time targeting the South-West.
Recall that the Foundation’s Quarter 1, 2, and 3 engagements were tailored to the Northwest, North-central, Southsouth and Southeast through project initiatives that revolved around high-impact education, health, welfare, and emergency relief.
The collaboration between SJF and ADASI is the renovation and rehabilitation of schools and the provision of essential educational materials which align with SJF’s mission of making quality education accessible to Africa’s disadvantaged populations and empowering children and youth to fulfill their positive aspirations.
SJF identified and decided to partner with ADASI because the Foundation also has a legacy of enhancing educational opportunities through sustainable and collaborative efforts —with the mission to foster high-quality education in the Southwest, and to expand its efforts nationwide and across Africa which complements SJF’s vision of equipping its EDP beneficiaries for a promising future.
Speaking on the collaboration, the Executive Chairman SJF, Mr Stanley Jegede said: “At SJF, we believe that a robust education infrastructure is pivotal for unlocking the potential of Africa’s children …our partnership with ADASI reinforces our unwavering commitment to fostering multi-resource learning environments where students can thrive academically and behaviourally. The initiative prioriises the importance of creating safe, conducive learning environments and equipping schools with the tools needed to deliver effective education. By addressing gaps in infrastructure and resources, SJF is paving the way for a brighter future for students, one school at a time.”
Through this partnership, the SJF reaffirms its dedication to working with similar vision-sharing non-profits and non-governmental organizations to bridge educational disparities and inspire a generation of lifelong learners in Nigeria and on the African continent.
