Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s media assistant, issued a statement on Wednesday that included his congratulations.
He stated that the President is happy for the priest and honors his many years of noteworthy contributions as a teacher, writer, and leader both inside and outside of Nigeria. The President expresses gratitude to Pastor Kumuyi for his commitment to serving humanity—particularly the poor and oppressed—as well as to God.
“President Tinubu notes the Spiritual Leader’s zeal in exercising his divine mantle for the promotion of peace, good neighbourliness, and pristine values as demonstrated by the Lord Jesus Christ,” the statement said.
It added that the President prays for many more years in good health for the Lord’s servant and his family.
