In anticipation of the upcoming Annual Youth Conference 2024, the Celestial Church of Christ is gearing up for a transformative event. Brother Elijah Ibiokoro, Chairman of the conference, and Brother Oluwaseyi Odufuwa, Secretary II of the Youth Organization for the Nigeria Region, provided insights into this year’s highly anticipated gathering.
“I am Brother Elijah Ibiokoro, a member of the Celestial Church of Christ and the chairman for this year’s upcoming annual youth conference. It is such a privilege to be at the helm of the 2024 youth conference,” stated Ibiokoro.
He continued, “This year, we have chosen the theme ‘Manifesting God’s Glory,’ inspired by Isaiah 58:8. Our goal is to encourage youths to live beyond limitations and reflect the presence of God in their personal lives. The conference will extend beyond spirituality, aiming to equip attendees to manifest God’s glory in every aspect of their lives.”
The three-day conference is scheduled to take place from Thursday, August 22nd, to Sunday, August 25th, 2024. Attendees from all over Africa are expected to participate.
Addressing logistics, Ibiokoro said, “We are making provisions for transportation and accommodation for attendees coming from distant regions. Our security measures are robust, with civil defense and police officers on site to ensure a safe environment. Additionally, we will have qualified health professionals on ground to attend to any medical needs. Our aim is to create a space where young people can grow spiritually and emotionally.”

“This year’s conference theme, ‘Manifesting God’s Glory,’ is inspired by Isaiah 58:8 and aims to guide individuals in demonstrating God’s presence in every aspect of their lives,” he explained.
Expanding on the conference’s offerings, Odufuwa noted, “Our focus isn’t solely spiritual. We provide workshops on financial management, relationship building, and academic guidance. We also address healthcare needs, ensuring a holistic approach to personal development.”
Odufuwa elaborated on the preparations for the influx of attendees, “We have established strong security and medical teams comprising experienced professionals to ensure the well-being of all attendees. Arrangements for free transportation from various regions are in place, and we are continuously improving our conference facilities, including expanding accommodation options.”
Both leaders expressed confidence that the conference would provide a safe and enriching environment for all participants, ensuring that logistical challenges are addressed, and the attendees can focus on their spiritual and personal growth.
